1/220 キュベレイ
1983年12月発売
2019年に実家より発掘しました。
ファーストシリーズの1/144が300円が基本だったのにZになるとキットの高額化が進んでしまったため、子どもたちが買いやすい300円で発売するというようなコンセプトだと予想していますが、キュベレイは1/220のみでの立体化となりました。
大型MSのため小さいスケールでも十分に満足感があります。
あまり評判は良くないキットですが意外とよくできていると私は感じます。

Mobile Suit Z Gundam
1/220 scale Qubeley
Released December 1983.
It was unearthed from my parents' house in 2019.
The background to the series of mainstay MS such as the Gundam Mark 2 and the 100-shiki in 1/220 scale.
I expect that the concept was something like releasing the kit at 300 yen, which is easy for children to buy, because the kit became more expensive when it came to the Z series, while the 1/144 scale of the first series was based on 300 yen, but the Qubeley was sculpted only in 1/220 scale! .
Because it is a large MS, even at a small scale it is satisfying enough.
I feel that the kit is surprisingly well made, although it does not have a good reputation.
